PHOTO 1: The caboose in the foreground is L&HR #18, getting a coat of protective paint. The caboose in the background with the tarp is L&HR #16. Extensive work will be done on both cabooses as soon as they can be put under cover of our enginehouse. The reported scrapping of the L&HR cabooses is obviously premature. Both cabooses need protective coverings over the windows to discourage the stone throwers. This photo was taken at the PRRH museum.
