Spring Open House

Greetings all,
The May open house was held today under cloudy skies with a constant very light drizzle. Turn out was disappointing but the show went on anyway. Here are a few pictures.

10:37 Bob M. at the throttle starting the eastbound trip as the NS local comes up alongside.

Glenn and Bob alternated as engineer. Here Glenn grimaces a bit as the light drizzle pelted him in the face.

12:02 John B. takes the tie crane for a trip along the mainline.

12:30 Glenn gets the Mack Railbus out of the car shop.

12:57 New this year is the tongue and groove ceiling in the museum.

1:29 We did see some new faces. This couple brought their young son from a spot in NJ that was over an hour away.
That's Jim D. at the wheel in the Railbus.

The North Jersey Electric RRHS men were there to support the open house.

Bob M. took the 1502 out on the main to give it some exercise. It's not ready for regular service at this time.
Glenn and Bob do the customary hand slap as Glenn passed.

That's it for now.

Pete
